Old Fashioned Pecan Pie
Old Fashioned Pecan PiePie pastry for 9 inch pie crust1 1/4 cup dark corn syrup4 large eggs1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed4 tbsp. butter, melted2 tsp. flour1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1 1/2 cups pecan halvesPreheat oven to 350°F. Roll out pastry on a floured surface to form a 13 inch circle. Fit pastry into pie plate. Trim and flute edges. Set aside.In large bowl, combine corn syrup, eggs, brown sugar and butter. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed until blended. Stir in flour and vanilla. Pour into pie shell.Place pecans on top of filling.Bake 45 minutes or until filling is puffed.
