Sour Cream Chicken
Sour Cream Chicken Recipe
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. paprika
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. black pepper
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup bread crumbs
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 cu vegetable shortening
In large bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire, celery salt, paprika, garlic and black pepper; mix well.
Add chicken to sour cream mixture; turn to coat. Cover, chill 8 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Remove chicken from sour cream mixture. Coat with bread crumbs. Place chicken in a 13×9 inch baking dish.
In small saucepan, combine butter and shortening. Cook on low heat until melted.
Spoon half of the butter mixture over chicken. Bake 45 minutes. Spoon remaining butter mixture over chicken. Bake 15 minutes.
Serves 6
